Key Features

Wood Core

Die Kerne unserer Boards bestehen aus Paulownia Holz. Paulownia ist leicht, biegsam und sehr stabil – in unseren Augen das perfekteste Material für Wakeboard Kerne. Nachhaltig ist es natürlich auch, denn Paulownia wächst viel schneller als andere Edelhölzer und die riesigen Blätter absorbieren zehnmal mehr CO2 als jede andere Baumart.

Our cores consist of paulownia wood. Paulownia is light, flexy and still durable – from our point of view the best material for wakeboard cores. It is also sustainable as paulownia growths way faster than other exotic woods and thanks to their big leafs they suck up ten times more carbon than every other tree.

Base sheet

Die in Deutschland gefertigte RKLS Indestructo 2.0 Base verleiht dem Board, trotz Nutzung von Features, Langlebigkeit. Durch den höheren TPU Anteil ist die Base ziemlich flott auf Plastik unterwegs, also nichts mehr mit hick ups auf Rampen. Durch die Kombination aus den beiden Technologien Digital- und Siebdruck, entsteht das bisher edelste Base Sheet, das es jemals bei Reckless gab.

The german made RKLS Indestructo 2.0 Base makes the board really durable no matter it is used on features or not. Due to the higher percentage of TPU the base is quite fast on plastic, so no more hick ups on features. With the combination of the technologies digital and silk screen printing we created the most classy base sheet we ever made.

Fiberglass

Multiple Fiberglasmatten gelegt aus ungerichtetem und bi-axialem Glas sichern die beste Stärke und Flex. Mit diesem triaxialen Gelege verstärken wir zusätzlich unsere M6 Inserts, um ein Rausreißen zu verhindern.

Multiple fiberglas layed with undirectional and biaxial glas brings stiffness and flex. With the triaxial clutch we reinforce the M6 inserts to avoid that they pull off.

PU sidewall

Unsere Sidewalls werden bei einigen Boards aus zwei verschieden farbigen Polyurethanen gegossen, wodurch ein Batik Effekt entsteht und jedes Board so zu einem Unikat wird. Aber unsere Kante sieht nicht nur gut aus, sondern ist auch extrem funktional. Sie wird aus einem Stück gegossen, ist extrem robust, stoßfest und unempfindlich gegen UV-Strahlung. Jede Kante wird von uns liebevoll per Hand angefast, um einen besseren Kantenschutz und eine längere Lebenszeit zu gewährleisten. Unser verwendetes PU wird hierzulande hergestellt.

We mixture our sidewalls with two colored polyurethanes which gives them a batik effect and makes every board unique. But these Sidewalls not only look right they are also really functional. They are extremely durable, impact and UV resistant. Every edge gets beveled by hand to secure better edge protection and a longer life time. Our PU gets produced in our country.

Epoxy resin

Wir benutzen den wohl hochwertigsten Epoxy Harz, den es auf dem Markt gibt. Dieser sorgt durch beste Verklebungen und langjährigen Pop. Unsere Boards werden in unserer Presse bei fast 100° C regelrecht gebacken. Danach haben sie die gewünschte Härte und bleiben trotzdem flexibel. Auch dieses Harz wird lokal hergestellt, so können lange Handelswege gespart werden.

We are using the highest quality epoxy resin to get the best bonding and long time pop. Our boards get pressed at almost 100° C. After baking they have the wished strength and still stay flexy. Also this resin gets manufactured in Germany to avoid long trade routes.

Jedes unserer Boards wird von Hand und mit ganz viel Liebe in unserer Werkstatt in Hamburg gebaut.

2. Participation Period

The giveaway starts on November 19, 2025 and ends on December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM (CET). Entries received after this time cannot be considered.

3. Eligibility

All natural persons residing in Europe who have reached the age of 16 are eligible to participate. Participation is free of charge and not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

To participate in the giveaway, the following steps must be completed:

  • Follow the Instagram account @reckless.wake
  • Like the giveaway post
  • Tag a friend in the comments
  • Sign up for the newsletter via the form at www.recklesswake.com. If you are already subscribed to the newsletter, this step is not required.

Each person may only participate once. Multiple entries via different accounts or profiles will be excluded. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these terms or manipulate the giveaway process.

4. Prize

One (1) winner will be drawn from all valid entries.
Prize: 1× Reckless NX Series 2026 Wakeboard

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Shipping is free within Europe.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be drawn randomly on January 5, 2026. The announcement will be made via an Instagram story and by email to the address provided in the newsletter form.

If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the claim will expire, and a new winner will be drawn.

6. Data Protection

Participation in the giveaway requires the provision of personal data (name, email address, Instagram handle). The data will be used solely for conducting the giveaway and notifying the winner.

By signing up for the newsletter, participants consent to receiving regular information about products, promotions, and news from RECKLESS.WAKE via email. Consent can be revoked at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by email to info@recklesswake.com.
